Well, that was pretty cool. Last night, 4 new songs popped outta us and into our set. I like that. Jared had twins. Phil and I had 1 each. I swear I love how this works. We spend 3 months off, and then all of a sudden we have a radio show where we gotta play for 45 minutes. Well, our set is usually about 30 minutes. Pop goes the weasil.... we got em. I love that. All I hope is that we get more of a chance to play shows that require us to step up even more.

To be fair, I don't know anyone in Grand Champeen, but i do like their music quite a bit. One of my roommates in chicago turned me onto them around 03 maybe and i'd seen them play up there before I moved here to austin. Fast forward to yesterday. Wow, that sounds wierd. Anyhow, our friend was putting on this two day festival and my other band played it today. Grand Champeen played it yesterday. I would have gone to see them if i hadn't been getting my ass kicked at work. In fact, they were the number one reason I would have gone to this day show yesterday.

Now there's not alot of facts, but here they are. Some of these facts will sound like opinions, but aren't widely held opinions taken as fact? Whatever.

I've told a lot of people about the guitar rig that I am using these days in The Nasty Rumors. Most of everyone has been pretty surprised that I get to play through such a monstrosity (as am I). It's the most fun I've ever had playing guitar, and it's lovely sounding. The last time we played, we had all of our shit off stage in literally less than three minutes.

I geeked out not too long ago and made a signal path for the rig. On this particular signal path, I left out some very key things to the sound that I am getting. I whited out a number of the pedals and amp models to protect the innocent, but left the guitar models to engage the guilty.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that Phil owns practically all of this rig?

Hello out there in Rumor World. If you can believe it, in less than 24 hours I will no longer have a job. That's right, I'm telling the man exactly where he can shove it! I'm worried, but nonetheless, it is time. Thus here is what I need from you:
